Another Jungian/Myers-Briggs personality test

Online tests aren't the best for figuring Myers-Briggs types, but this was an interesting one (if a bit long) that posed similar questions in different ways, and gave results indicating not just who we are, but who we'd like to be and who we're attracted to. INFJ is indeed my type so it got that right, and apparently I'm contented with who I am...

Jung Explorer Test

Actualized type: INFJ
(who you are)
INFJ - "Author". Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. Complex personality. 1.5% of total population.

Preferred type: INFJ
(who you prefer to be)
INFJ - "Author". Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. Complex personality. 1.5% of total population.

Attraction type: INFP
(who you are attracted to)
INFP - "Questor". High capacity for caring. Emotional face to the world. High sense of honor derived from internal values. 4.4% of total population.

What kind of reader?

Thanks to Steve for this one - the result is exactly right! Alas, the nice red bars in the results didn't paste properly into blogger, so it's not so clear that I also scored highly on the next two results, a medium amount for 'book snob', a small amount for 'fad reader' and nothing at all for 'non-reader'.

What Kind of Reader Are You?
Your Result: Dedicated Reader

You are always trying to find the time to get back to your book. You are convinced that the world would be a much better place if only everyone read more.

Literate Good Citizen

Obsessive-Compulsive Bookworm

Book Snob

How's your 'Karma'?

I don't believe in 'karma' as it's traditionally understood. But I included this quiz just to show how wrong many people's stereotypes are when they divide people into 'logical' (see below) or 'sensitive'. Many people are both.

You Have Fantastic Karma

You are a kind, sensitive, and giving person.
And all your good deeds will pay off - if they haven't already.
But you're not so concerned with what you get in return anyway.
You have an innate caring nature - and nothing can change that!

How logical?

I have always been considered logical. I do like puzzles, and enjoyed this quiz, which had some interesting questions. It's one of the things that made me (mistakenly) consider my Myers-Briggs type must include the letter 'T' - which is not the case.

You Are Incredibly Logical

Move over Spock - you're the new master of logic
You think rationally, clearly, and quickly.
A seasoned problem solver, your mind is like a computer!

Socialist or Capitalist?

Some of the questions are American and not entirely applicable to an international audience, but I'm relieved to see that my capitalist tendencies are pretty low:

You Are 16% Capitalist, 84% Socialist

You see a lot of injustice in the world, and you'd like to see it fixed.
As far as you're concerned, all the wrong people have the power.
You're strongly in favor of the redistribution of wealth - and more protection for the average person.

Sunday, September 17, 2006

How daring are you?

I'm definitely not a daring or sensation-seeking person. Uh-uh. So the answer is correct for this one:

You Are Placid and Peaceful

It's not that you're scared of most thrills
It's just that you don't need them to be happy
You're content with life as is... no need to change it
Just make sure to let loose a little every now and then!

Are you a control freak?

Thanks to Merry for this link. At first glance I didn't think any of these really applied to me, but then I looked more honestly, and clicked all that could. I guess being a control freak is not one of my big problems. Not that I'm complacent about it, of course....

You Are 28% Control Freak

You have achieved the perfect balance of control and letting go.
You tend to roll with whatever life brings, but you never get complacent.

How are your English skills?

Of course, this tests American English rather than standard British English. Mostly they're the same, but not always. Still, I managed with only one mistake, and I know which question I got wrong. I don't actually think any of the possible answers to that question were entirely right!

Your English Skills:

Grammar: 100%
Punctuation: 100%
Spelling: 100%
Vocabulary: 80%

Big Five style quick personality test

Thanks to Steve for this link... not a true 'big five' test, but based on the same theory. Results as expected (well, almost. I didn't think I was 100% introverted, or that I would score as quite so agreeable), and the description was surprisingly accurate for me. There's even a link to see the 'full report' - and it's not one where they expect you to pay.

My Personality

Neuroticism
46
Extraversion
0
Openness To Experience
38
Agreeableness
98
Conscientiousness
40

You are introverted, reserved, and quiet with a preference for solitude and solitary activities. Your socializing tends to be restricted to a few close friends. Stressful and frustrating situations can be upsetting to you, but you are generally able to get over these feelings and cope with these situations. A desire for tradition does not prevent you from trying new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual. You have a strong interest in others' needs and well-being. You are pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative. You are reasonably reliable, organized, and self-controlled.

What element?

I don't know how the ancient elements are supposed to connect with modern temperament theory, but I thought the result was about right:

Your Element Is Water

A bit of a contradiction, you can seem both lighthearted and serious.
That's because you're good at going with the flow - but you also are deep.

Highly intuitive, you tune in to people's emotions and moods easily.
You are able to tap into deep emotional connections and connect with others.

You prefer a smooth, harmonious life - but you can navigate your way around waves.
You have a knack for getting people to get along and making life a little more peaceful.

What colour purple?

I don't think I'm any kind of purple, but if I must choose one, it would be lavender...

You Are Lavender

You are a sweet person with a very soft personality.
People become easily entranced with you. They seem to glow around you.
You have a quiet energy that can keep you active late into the night.
Even if you aren't the life of the party, you definitely keep the party going.

Wednesday, August 30, 2006

Are you impulsive?

The description sounds about right. I'm surprised I scored as much as 24% though.

You Are 24% Impulsive

You're a pretty stable and serious person. You don't take things lightly.
This doesn't mean you can't have fun - you just have fun responsibly.
You definitely have a spontaneous side, but you only let loose when it's appropriate.

Meme of Three

I don't usually do these, but was tagged by Deb, and it was an interesting set of questions...

1.Things that scare me:
  • Heights
  • Large insects such as cockroaches (shudder)
  • Birds or bats in the house (though they're fine outside)
2. People who make me laugh:
  • Can't think of any individual, really. Perhaps the 'Just a minute' folk on Radio 4. Or a few authors - Adrian Plass, for instance. Or the occasional moment in one of the better sitcoms such as 'Yes Minister'. But that's about all.

3. Things I hate the most:

  • Bigotry of almost any sort
  • Cockroaches
  • Loud angry voices

4. Things I don’t understand:

  • Quantum physics
  • Greek
  • Why God made cockroaches

5. Things I’m doing right now:

  • typing
  • breathing
  • trying to stay awake

6. Things I want to do before I die:

  • live to the age of 90 or more
  • see my sons happily married, and some grandchildren (and perhaps great-grandchildren)
  • celebrate my golden wedding (and diamond too)
7. Things I can do:
  • cook
  • write
  • play Tetris

8. Ways to describe my personality:

  • introverted
  • gentle
  • procrastinating
9. Things I can’t do
  • drive
  • play any instrument
  • stay awake after about midnight (11pm is hard enough)

10. Things I think you should listen to:

  • other people's opinions and ideas
  • Mozart
  • 'Just a Minute' on Radio 4

11. Things you should never listen to:

  • People who try to pressurise you into doing what you know is wrong
  • Politicians
  • Heavy metal
12. Things I’d like to learn:
  • Greek
  • How to play the piano
  • Irish dancing

13. Favorite foods:

  • Chocolate
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries

14. Beverages I drink regularly:

  • Water
  • Coffee
  • Fruit juice

15. Shows I watched as a kid:

  • Crackerjack
  • Blue Peter
  • Jackanory

16. People I’m tagging to do this meme:

  • I don't tag people, but if anyone happens to read this and would like to do it, please consider yourself tagged (and let me know in the comments)

How healthy a diet?

Fairly obvious which questions were going to give the best score, but I answered honestly, and think the result is about right:

You Are 76% Healthy

Your diet is quite healthy, but you don't too crazy with what you eat.
You know how to eat what's good for you, but you're also careful not to deprive yourself.

How Nerdy?

Thanks to Deb for this.

Well I didn't think I was really nerdy, but having several experts in the family I suppose some of it's rubbed off on me. I do use Firefox as my browser, yes I always liked maths (and read it at university), and yes, I know a lot of the periodic table. But that's only because chemistry bored me so much at school that I decided the quickest way to pass exams was simply to learn the periodic table by rote. It worked, too.

The amazing thing is that even with all that, I'm only considered 22% nerdy. Apparently 78% of people are even more so....

I am nerdier than 22% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

Overall, you scored as follows:

78% scored higher (more nerdy), and
22% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:

Not nerdy, but definitely not hip.

Right-brained or left-brained?

For a few of these questions I wanted to answer 'both' (or 'neither') but on the whole they were reasonable. I think the result is probably pretty accurate too.

You Are 60% Left Brained, 40% Right Brained

The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning.
Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others.
If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic.
Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet.

The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility.
Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way.
If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art.
Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports.

What mythological creature?

Um... the description's not bad. I think of centaurs as rather stronger and more warlike than I am, but for what it's worth:

You Are a Centaur

In general, you are a very cautious and reserved person.
However, you are also warm hearted, and you enjoy helping others in practical ways.
You are a great teacher, and you are really good at helping people get their lives in order.
You are very intuitive, and you go with your gut. You make good decisions easily.

Monday, July 24, 2006

What's your Emotional Intelligence Quotient?

Hmm... higher than I would have expected. Interesting questions, anyway.

Your EQ is 140

50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick!
51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese.
71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.
91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that.
111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.
131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.
150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.

Personality type (Myers-Briggs, approximately)

I thought this wasn't bad at all for a quick test, although results should be taken with a large pinch of salt and checked against descriptions in books and/or relevant web-sites. Online personality tests of this sort are generally fairly inaccurate.

Still, I answered as carefully as I could, trying not to think about what the responses would lead to, and it gave me the correct personality type.

You Are An INFJ

The Protector

You live your life with integrity, originality, vision, and creativity.
Independent and stubborn, you rarely stray from your vision - no matter what it is.
You are an excellent listener, with almost infinite patience.
You have complex, deep feelings, and you take great care to express them.

You would make a great photographer, alternative medicine guru, or teacher.

Wednesday, July 12, 2006

What Enneagram number?

Online tests for the Enneagram are notoriously unreliable, since this personality system is about motivations more than behaviour. Still, I thought this one wasn't at all bad for a short questionnaire, and it gave me the correct number:

You Are 9: The Peacemaker

You are emotionally stable and willing to find common ground with others.

Your friends and family often look to you to be the mediator when there is conflict.

You are easy going and accepting. You take things as they come.

Avoding conflict at all costs, you're content when things are calm.

Sunday, June 25, 2006

How Indie are you?

I'm not entirely sure what 'Indie' means. I know it's to do with small independent music companies, so perhaps the word has taken on the wider connotation of doing one's own thing rather than caring over-much about being fashionable or wealthy.

Whatever it means, the assessment sounds about right:

You Are 47% Indie

You're pretty indie, but you don't make a fuss letting everyone know.
You just do what you like. You enjoy many types of things - from trendy to bizarre.

What your soul really looks like

Only five questions, but the results are uncannily accurate.

What Your Soul Really Looks Like

You are a warm hearted and open minded person. It's easy for you to forgive and forget.

You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds.

You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you.

Your near future is a lot like the present, and as far as you're concerned, that's a very good thing.

For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust.

Friday, June 16, 2006

Are you a sociopath?

Bit worrying this test... but I'm relieved to find I don't have sociopathic tendencies! In fact the description is remarkably accurate.

You Are 4% Sociopath

You're empathetic, loyal, and introspective.
In other words, there's no way you're a sociopath... but you can spot one pretty easily!

Thursday, June 15, 2006

How gross are you?

Sounds about right!

You Are 32% Gross

You're a tad gross, but generally you're a clean, hygienic person.
No one can be perfectly clean all the time, and it's better to be human than a neat freak.

Monday, June 12, 2006

Where should you spend the Summer?

Sounds good to me!

You Should Spend Your Summer in the Mountains

You're quiet, introspective, and a great thinker.
You need a summer vacation that gets you away from the crowds and the heat.
So retreat to the mountains, where you can clear your head.

Thanks to Merry for this one. I'm certainly an Idealist in Myers-Briggs/Keirseyan temperament theory, and the suggested professions do sound around right, if I were starting over again.

How cynical are you?

Yes, I think this sounds spot on!

You Are 24% Cynical

Generally you give people the benefit of the doubt. But there are exceptions.
You buy into many of the things that mainstream society believes, but you're not anybody's fool.

Monday, May 29, 2006

What year do you belong in?

I hadn't heard of most of the items in this questionnaire so I did a lot of guessing, but I guess the 1960s description is about the best. I was five in 1965.

You Belong in 1965

If you scored...

1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!

1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.

1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!

1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.

1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!

Saturday, May 20, 2006

What colour blue?

Well, I don't think I'm 'driven' but I suppose the rest isn't far wrong:

You are Ocean Blue

You're both warm and practical. You're very driven, but you're also very well rounded.
You tend to see both sides to every issue, and people consider you a natural diplomat.

Wednesday, May 17, 2006

How vain are you?

Well I've never been particularly concerned with appearance, so I guess this is about right:

You Are 19% Vain

You don't have a vain bone in your body - almost as a matter of principal.
You demand to be judged on who you are, not what you look like.

Monday, May 15, 2006

What world leader?

I found this questioinnaire via Jax and Tim's blog. Fairly accurate, I guess... not that I have the least desire to be any kind of leader, nor to be assassinated!

What famous movie?

Thanks to Sarah and Jax for this one:

Thursday, May 11, 2006

What Gender is your Brain?

Um...

Your Brain is 67% Female, 33% Male

Your brain leans female
You think with your heart, not your head
Sweet and considerate, you are a giver
But you're tough enough not to let anyone take advantage of you!

How stressed are you?

A bit predictable, but I guess this is about right...

Your Stress Level is: 20%

You are not prone to stress or worry.
While everyone encounters stress in life, you've learned to deal with it well.
You know how to keep productive and creative, even when times are tough.

Sunday, May 07, 2006

What are your deadly sins?

Well, I'd definitely agree that sloth is my biggest problem amongst this list. Not so sure about gluttony (however I do love chocolate), but I'm relieved to know I'm not showing signs of the others.

However I'm entirely confident I shall be going to Heaven eventually!

Your Deadly Sins
Sloth: 80%
Gluttony: 60%
Envy: 0%
Greed: 0%
Lust: 0%
Pride: 0%
Wrath: 0%
Chance You'll Go to Hell: 20%
You will die while sleeping - and no one will notice.

Do you have a Type B personality?

Type B, huh? I guess that's the opposite of Type A. And yes, the description sounds about right for me. Interesting quiz with rather more questions than usual for this kind.

You Have A Type B Personality

You're as laid back as they come...
Your baseline mood is calm and level headed
Creativity and philosophy tend to be your forte

Like a natural sedative, you have a soothing effect on people
Friends and family often turn to you first with their problems
You have the personality to be a spiritual or psychological guru

Thursday, May 04, 2006

What Kind of Artist?

I really am NOT an artist. Not in the painting/drawing sense, anyway. Nor a computer artist, nor a designer... So I wondered what this blogthing might turn up. But although I'm not a poet, I'm certainly a writer so it's not far wrong. Hmmm.

You Should Be a Poet

You have a way with words... and a talent for drawing the pure emotions out of experiences.
Your poetry has the potential to make people laugh and cry at the same time. You just need to write it!

What's your Inner Power?

A questionnaire from Quizilla this time, one of their better ones I thought, despite a rather New-Agey feel, and not a bad result:

Understanding- Your inner power is Understanding! Lifes many mysteries have become your ultimate goal to work out. You are neither a good or bad person, just very neutral, very stable. You look down on nothing or anyone, merely observe their point of view and make no judgments. You can be seen as very shadowy and uncertain in what you believe in to an outsider, but this isnt always true. You simply dont flaunt your views around. You have a few, close friends who rely on you, and love you for the way your never scorn for the way they live their lives. You are very caring and would make a great mother, seeing you always try to help those who come to you for your aid. You are extremely hard to anger, and yet when you are, your forgiveness is hard to gain. You are loyal, secretive, very quiet and often impassive, with few able to break around the wall that you built to protect yourself. Not everyone acknowledges you even exist, but you dont really care. As long as you have your close friends by your side, you are right to go. Although they might not voice it, many people long to have your ability to accept change as well as what cant be changed. Dont ever let others bring you down, because you are truly special, and those who have the courage to venture passed your walls of silence will only regret not having tried to befriend you sooner.

Boy/Girl who will sweep you off your feet: The mysterious boy/girl. The one who no one knows much about. You are attracted to him/her by the secrecy around him/her, and he/she loves how stable and unjudging you are.

Your stone/jewel: Sapphire

Your power:
Life. The ability to bring those who have died back to life, as well as bring life back into those who have lost all hope.

Your element:
Lunar

A quote that applies to you:
"Do not be 'against' anything. Being 'against' weakens you. Be 'for' what you want. Being 'for' empowers you."

Take this quiz!

What Advanced Degree?

Blogthings seem to be getting better. Here's another one, thanks to Deb for the link. I think it's probably true of me, not that I ever want to go back to formal studying. But if I did, this is what I'd most likely choose (well, not political science, but literature and philosophy):

You Should Get a PhD in Liberal Arts (like political science, literature, or philosophy)

You're a great thinker and a true philosopher.
You'd make a talented professor or writer.

Saturday, April 22, 2006

What colour red?

Goodness me, yet another 'Blogthing' with fairly interesting questions and a surprisingly accurate response:

You Are Red Orange

You are a very genuine person, although it takes a while for you to show the true you.
A bit introverted, you desire respect and affection from those close to you.
You are quite empathetic, and you have a true concern for the well being of others.
Many people have warm, heartfelt memories of you - even if you don't remember them well.

Friday, April 21, 2006

What time of day?

Yet another short quiz from 'blogthings'- and once again I thought the results reasonably accurate:

You Are Sunrise

You enjoy living a slow, fulfilling life. You enjoy living every moment, no matter how ordinary.
You are a person of reflection and meditation. You start and end every day by looking inward.
Caring and giving, you enjoy making people happy. You're often cooking for friends or buying them gifts.
All in all, you know how to love life for what it is - not for how it should be.

Thursday, April 20, 2006

What colour flower?

Another 'blogthing', not many questions but I thought the results not bad:

You Are a Blue Flower

A blue flower tends to represent peace, openness, and balance.
At times, you are very delicate like a cornflower.
And at other times, you are wise like an iris.
And more than you wish, you're a little cold, like a blue hydrangea.

Thursday, April 13, 2006

Self-esteem

I guess this one is about right...

You Have Low Self Esteem 12% of the Time

Which can be translated to mean, you have high self-esteem and a healthy sense of self worth.
You believe in yourself, and you know how to be the real you. You love yourself, imperfections and all.

How good a cook?

Sometimes 'Blogthings' have rather silly questions and even more ludicrous answers, but I thought this one wasn't bad, though a bit predictable. I should think anyone who does any cooking at all would get this kind of answer - I'm no great cook, and always like to keep things simple, but I do cook rather than using instant meals or takeaways. And yes, it did take me many years of trial and error (or trial and improvement, as it seems to be called these days) to get to the stage of being confident in the kitchen.

You Are an Excellent Cook

You're a top cook, but you weren't born that way. It's taken a lot of practice, a lot of experimenting, and a lot of learning.
It's likely that you have what it takes to be a top chef, should you have the desire...

Saturday, April 01, 2006

Which European City?

I don't know why blogthings assumes that all readers are from the USA.. this is another quiz that treats European cities as unusual, American ones as more normal. But still, I thought the result reasonably accurate - not that I'd actually want to live in Amsterdam.

You Belong in Amsterdam

A little old fashioned, a little modern - you're the best of both worlds. And so is Amsterdam.
Whether you want to be a squatter graffiti artist or a great novelist, Amsterdam has all that you want in Europe (in one small city).

Thursday, March 30, 2006

What do people envy?

A 'blogthing' quiz... rather strange to think that someone might envy compassion, but anyway. For what it's worth:

People Envy Your Compassion

You have a kind heart and an unusual empathy for all living creatures. You tend to absorb others' happiness and pain.
People envy your compassion, and more importantly, the connections it helps you build. And compassionate as you are, you feel for them.

Interesting personality test

This was an interesting one, with several questions, needing not yes/no answers but sliding scales or grids. Pretty accurate, too. Holding the mouse over the different coloured squares shows - supposedly - which traits I have most strongly, and which the least. Thanks to the Biscotti Brain blog for the link to this:

How Irish?

I guess St Patrick's Day must be coming up. It's not something we celebrate in England, nor in Cyprus, but it's big in Ireland, and even more so in the USA. Oddly enough I do have some Irish blood in me. My great-grandmother was half Irish. That makes me 1/32 Irish, technically speaking. Which is nearer 3% than 5%, but still not a bad estimate from a silly quiz (although 5% IS 'a wee bit'):

You're 5% Irish

You're not Irish. Not even a wee bit.
Not even on St. Patrick's Day!

Monday, March 13, 2006

What colour green?

I found this on Merry's blog. A slightly strange quiz asking what shade of green we are... not bad results, though. I don't think of myself as at all hippie-like, but I suppose eating mostly natural home-cooked food and home educating does give me that kind of label.

You Are Grass Green

Down to earth and a bit of a hippie, you are very into nature and the outdoors.
You accept the world and people as they are. You don't try to change things.
You are also very comfortable with yourself, flaws and all.
Optimistic about the future, you feel like life is always getting better.

Monday, February 06, 2006

What kind of soul?

Found this via Jax & Tim's blog... rather more thought-provoking questions than usual, and not bad as far as the description goes either.

You Are a Prophet Soul

You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone.
Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people.
Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run.
No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way.

You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle.
Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings.
A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning.
You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer.

Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul

Which Muppet?

If I must be a Muppet, Kermit is probably the one I'd choose... the description does sound surprisingly like me.

You Are Kermit

Hi, ho! Lovable and friendly, you get along well with everyone you know.
You're a big thinker, and sometimes you over think life's problems.
Don't worry - everyone know's it's not easy being green.
Just remember, time's fun when you're having flies!

Five factor test

I was pretty sceptical that the psychological 'Big 5' test could be reduced to a few questions on a 'blogthing'... but the results are much the same as when I did the entire lengthy thing at a different site.

Your Five Factor Personality Profile

Extroversion:

You have low extroversion.
You are quiet and reserved in most social situations.
A low key, laid back lifestyle is important to you.
You tend to bond slowly, over time, with one or two people.

Conscientiousness:

You have medium conscientiousness.
You're generally good at balancing work and play.
When you need to buckle down, you can usually get tasks done.
But you've been known to goof off when you know you can get away with it.

Agreeableness:

You have high agreeableness.
You are easy to get along with, and you value harmony highly.
Helpful and generous, you are willing to compromise with almost anyone.
You give people the benefit of the doubt and don't mind giving someone a second chance.

Neuroticism:

You have low neuroticism.
You are very emotionally stable and mentally together.
Only the greatest setbacks upset you, and you bounce back quickly.
Overall, you are typically calm and relaxed - making others feel secure.

Openness to experience:

Your openness to new experiences is medium.
You are generally broad minded when it come to new things.
But if something crosses a moral line, there's no way you'll approve of it.
You are suspicious of anything too wacky, though you do still consider creativity a virtue.

What Candy?

Strange quiz here, featuring American 'candy' - ie sweets. I'm not entirely sure what Gummi Bears are, but I suppose the description isn't far off.

Which subject for further education?

Here's an interesting quiz which I saw at Chief Executive Mom's blog. What should I have 'majored in' (as they call it in the USA)? In other words, what subject would I best have been suited to read at university? I actually did maths with a hefty dose of computer programming although I struggled by the end. I only came to writing, and interest in history, psychology and so on, later on. At 19 I wouldn't have wanted to read English and in my mid-forties I haven't the slightest idea to go back to formal study, although it's true that I love to write (and read). Here's what it gave me:

You scored as English. You should be an English major! Your passion lies in writing and expressing yourself creatively, and you hate it when you are inhibited from doing so. Pursue that interest of yours!
